As you depart the pier on the first segment of your tour, enjoy the walk along the port and the walls. The town of can boast of being one of the most inspirational settings for artists on the Cote d'Azur and famous for Provencal shopping, stunning surrounding scenery and the biggest yacht harbour in Europe. After a brief orientation, enjoy some free time on your own to stroll around.
At a designated time, you will reboard the motorcoach for a relaxing drive inland about 20 minutes to the picturesque village of Biot. Where you will visit the famous family owned glass blowing factory of La Verrerie de Biot, founded in 1956. The glass tradition in Provence dates back thousands of years but in Biot everything began in 1956, the year in which La Verrerie de Biot created the bubble glass, mastering the bubble and imprisoning it between two layers of glass to transform a defect (a bubble) into a feature of quality: bubbled glass. Le Verrerie de Biot features several workshops that demonstrate the successive stages of the art of glass blowing, characterised by a bubbly texture peculiar of the Biot production. See glassworkers who expertly blow, handle and conjure the molten glass into a work of art.Afterwards relax and enjoy the drive to Antibes and back to the ship.

The outline of this 16th-century village stands out far above the rolling hills and rich valleys of the Vence countryside. This picturesque town has retained much of its medieval appearance and is typical of the fortified towns that once guarded the Var frontier. A walk with your guide along the cobbled streets reveals to you why Saint Paul de Vence was "discovered" in the 1920s by painters such as Signac, Modigliani, Bonnard and Soutine. After your guided walking tour you will have some free time to explore on your own.
Afterwards you will continue on to the Maeght Foundation, one of the world's most famous museums of modern art. You will see works by Miro, Matisse, Kandinsky, Braque and others as well as monumental sculptures scattered about the museum's pine-tree grounds. Few museums blend form and content so tastefully and imaginatively. Reflect on this unusual mixture of medieval and modern as you make your way back to the pier.

STROLL ANTIBES & ABSINTHE BAR
Starting from the pier, you will walk along one of the largest harbors in Europe, known as Port Vauban, where the world's jet-setters anchor their super yachts. Antibes was founded by the Greek merchants in the 5th century and is one of the oldest cities in France. The historic part of the city is a maze of small, flower-bedecked streets with Roman and Medieval sections. Its 16th century ramparts overlook the Mediterranean Sea and still protect the heart of the Old Town.
After you visit the old town, then enjoy a stop at the well known "Absinthe Bar" just might do the trick, the cavernous bar is a trip away from the vagaries of the modern world hidden in a 9th century vaulted cellar, with a Roman well.
There you will taste some regional delicacies such as the tapenade or the pissaladiere accompanied by a glass of the famous "Absinthe" (wormwood-based alcoholic beverage), the favorite beverage of many French artists in the 19th century. Before finding your way back to the port, enjoy some free time in the old town.

BARCELONA BY BIKE
This tour offers an alternative and pleasant way to discover Barcelona - by bicycle. Your ride takes you to the best corners of the city in the company of a monitor-guide and a monitor-mechanic. The tour provides an intimate, original, and privileged way to discover Barcelona, with its squares, monuments, beaches, and people, because cycling is a direct and enriching means to absorb the environment. Your route includes some of the city's more than 60 miles of cycle lanes and an extensive pedestrian old town, which means safety from vehicular traffic. Pedal through the old town and along the sea front, making a stop along the way in front of the harbor area. This is a great way to discover the city in a short time. The terrain is flat, and suitable for guests of all ages and biking abilities. Approximately 7.5 miles in length, the course runs almost exclusively on cycle lanes and through pedestrian zones.

BARCELONA'S PUBLIC MARKETS
This tour is the best way to experience how a real Barcelonan's lives, the old quarter, with its charm and little shops, all of them a representation of part of the history in Barcelona. From the gothic to nowadays apart from the opportunity to enjoy the real sights, smells and traditions of the public markets of Barcelona.
Departing the pier by motorcoach, you will start this walking tour with a short visit of the Gothic Quarter. Next you will start with the experience of the Santa Caterina Market, one of the oldest market in Barcelona since 1848, with its hundreds of stalls of fresh fishmonger's, seafood, butchers and fruit & vegetables all housed on three levels. Its iron cover is already one of the emblematic images of the city.
From there, you will visit the best known and beautiful market in the city - the Market of the Boqueria. The first mention of the Boqueria Market of Barcelona dates to 1217 in historical documents when tables were installed near the old door of the city to sell meat. It is not until 1826 that the market is legally recognized, and in 1911, the new fish market was opened and, in 1914, the metal roof that still exists today was constructed.
After exploring the markets', you will have some free time at two of the best known places in Barcelona to explore on your own; The Plaza Catalunya; with its numerous street entertainers, such as artists and musicians. The Las Ramblas; where you can find the prestigious shopping from all over the world. If you feel tired, have a drink at one of the many cafes along this cosmopolitan street before returning to the pier.

Drive along the Middle Corniche and up to the picturesque village of Eze, clinging to a rocky spire on the Riviera. From the base of the enchanting village you will set out on a walking tour, strolling around its narrow streets and admiring the old medieval houses that have been recently restored. The village offers magnificent views over the Italian and the French coasts. After this pleasant visit, reboard your coach and continue to Cap Ferrat, one of the most exclusive places on the CÙte d'Azur. You'll stop at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and visit the villa and its splendid gardens. From there, enjoy the gorgeous view over the two bays of Villefranche and Beaulieu sur Mer. Boarding your motorcoach at the Monaco pier, travel to Monaco Rock where elevators and escalators take you up to the Old City. Experience a guided walking tour that takes you up the hill and through the narrow streets, past the Oceanographic Museum, and the Cathedral containing the tomb of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier. Visit the interior of the Prince's Palace followed by some free time to explore further on your own.
Next, descend from the rock and take a drive on a small part of the circuit of the Grand Prix on your way to the Grande Corniche. This panoramic drive affords panoramic views of the Principality of Monaco and its surroundings before returning to Monte Carlo. Your final stop is Monte Carlo, where you will first walk along the Formula 1 circuit up to the Casino Square to discover the most prominent and famous building on this square - the Grand Casino, which is surrounded by the Hotel de Paris and the Café de Paris. Those who wish may step inside the Casino for a glimpse. You may also prefer to stroll around the square and admire the designer boutiques, or try your luck with the slot machines at the Café de Paris Casino before returning to the pier or stay to explore more on your own, turning to the ship on you own.

NICE & ST PAUL DE VENCE
Begin your tour with a scenic drive to drive to Nice, passing through the seaside resorts of the French Cap d'Ail, Beaulieu, Cap Ferrat and Villefrance. Stopping for a nice walk through the old part of the town located close to the sea and the famous Promenade des Anglais. Stroll around the Flower Market square to peek into the local shops and art galleries.
Then, you will reboard your coach and drive down to St Paul de Vence, where you will immediately set out on a walking tour through the narrow streets of this medieval walled village. Its tall ramparts still contain charming, historic houses, and you will take the time to explore the wonderful shops, art galleries and boutiques. You'll understand why Saint Paul de Vence was "discovered" in the twenties by painters such as Signac, Modigliani, Bonnard and Soutine. From the terrace of one of the many local cafés, you can also enjoy the beautiful view on the valley, the Riviera coast and the sea. After this interesting walking tour, reboard you bus and drive back to the ship.

BEST OF GIRONA
A scenic 1-hour drive west of Palamos brings you to the beautiful town of Girona, known as the "immortal city." Girona is rich in historic treasures, making this one of the most interesting monumental cities in Spain. First stop at the interesting area of El Call, the Jewish Quarter, and walk through one of the best-preserved Jewish quarters, inhabited for almost seven centuries. Visit the Bonastruch Ca Porta Museum on the site of the old synagogue, the medieval walls of the city, and the remains of the Torre Gironella, destroyed by Napoleon during his retreat in 1814. Also pass by the great Catalonian Romanesque Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants. At the very heart of the Jewish Quarter are the Arab Baths with their beautiful arches. In spite of its name, the construction of the baths is western Romanesque style. Your tour concludes with the return drive to the ship in Palamos.
Notes: The Arab Baths are subject to closure without notice; in that case, free time for shopping is substituted. The Torre Gironella portion of the tour involves some difficult walking; recommended only for guests who are fit walkers.
COSTA BRAVA ANCIENT PAST
Departing the pier by motorcoach, it's a 60 minute drive along the coast to Empuries, which dates from the in 550BC. The original name comes from "Emporion" which means market place or commercial centre and correctly describes the site. The city was favourably situated at the delta (at that time) of the river Fluvia and at the crossing of several trade routes. The strategic place offered protection to the trading vessels. Emporion rapidly became one of antiquity's most important commercial ports of the Mediterranean.
You will visit the Greek and Roman ruins, showing the main structures: the market, the agora, the holy area where the temples stood and the main one dedicated to Jupiter. The Greeks adapted their places to the site and the terrain, while the Romans designed their plan and made the land accommodate their cities.
Next will depart to Begur located in the province of Girona, one of the most popular cities of the region, not only for its peculiar character but also for its historical remnants. The castle of Begur constructed in the 16th and 17th century, is a good example of its medieval remains.

KAYAKING THE COSTA BRAVA
If you do not feel like spending the day in the city, why not head out to the coast and cool off in the Mediterranean Sea. This tour is for those who want to have fun under the sun, enjoying a different way seeing Costa Brava landscape.
You will depart the pier by motorcoach for a drive to Estartit, a beautiful town located about 40 minutes from Palamos. You will be taken to the Nautical Station of Estartit, where you meet your instructor and get safety & instruction briefing before jumping into your kayak's to start your exciting two hour adventure heading to Illes Medes along the coast.
Once at your destination, you will have some free time to use the facilities to change your clothes before going back to Palamos.

SALVADOR DALI’S CASTLE
Salvador Dali is best known for the striking and bizarre images of his surrealist work. His Castle Museum is located in Pubol and was a residence of the artist's wife Gala till her death. The three story structure was constructed in the 14th century during the period of affluence experienced by the Pubol Barony.
Dali bought the castle in 1970 to fulfill a promise to Gala that he would buy her a palace. It was to be her residence exclusively which he could only visit by invitation. When purchased, the castle was in need of extensive restoration, which was restored in Dali's own unique way, with the structural imperfections of the ruined property used to create unusual & open spaces. The gardens were also restored & decorated with many sculptures, busts, & paintings. Much of the castle remains as it was when the Dali's lived there, with many articles of clothes, furniture, ornaments, & art work present.
Following your visit a brief drive brings you to Mas de Torrent, a Relais & Chateaux property to enjoy a sampling of local Catalan wine and refreshments before returning to Palamos.

FRENCH EXPRESSIONISTS OF COLLIOURE
Departing from the pier you're off to discover the Fauvism Road to Collioure.
Follow your guide in the footsteps of two French expressionist painters: Matisse and Derain who lived and painted in this small fishing village.
Henri Matisse and Andre Derain drew inspiration from Gauguin and Van Gogh. It was not Gauguin's subjects but his color that pointed to the future, Gauguin believed that color could act like words; that it held an exact counterpart for every emotion, every nuance of feeling.
You will get a feel for these artists paintings in the exact place's they get their inspiration. You will be charmed by the bloom of colors, the light and the scenic landscapes of this village. Fauvism was an art movement in the early 20th century, was the explosion of colors in the paintings and also a break with the traditional academic painting. After your guided tour, you will get some free time to leisurely to stroll, exploring the shops, cafes and the numerous art galleries before the drive back to Port Vendres

PERPIGNAN & THE ART OF TASTING
Salvador Dali saw Perpignan as the center of the universe, perhaps after your visit you will feel the same way. Departing from the pier by motorcoach for a pleasant one-hour drive to Perpignan, the city will charm you with its architectural and historical heritage, but also with its culture of food & wine. Your guided walk will take you to the heart of the city; seeing its main attractions from the Palace of the Majorcan Kings to the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, as you pass through its narrow streets and squares full of the colors and accents of southern France.
Then you will take a short walk to the wine cellar of Comptoir des Crus.. In the tasting room, an oenologist will introduce you to the Art of Tasting the wine. You learn the tasting techniques, first, how to describe the smell of a wine, then its color and at last the taste.
Afterwards it is short drive to the Villa Duflot Hotel, a member of the "Restaurants Les Toques Blanches", a restaurant association that Garanty cooking with fresh and regional product are their philosophy. Chef Michel Védrines will offer you a true European gastronomic luncheon experience. During lunch, the oenologist will explain you the perfect harmony between wine and food and how to light up the savors of a meal thanks to a wine.
After lunch, you will continue to Dom Brial Cellar, established in 1923, they produce one of the best wines of Languedoc Roussillon. This is the first producer of Muscat de Rivesaltes. You will visit the wine storehouse of the cellar before strolling to the vineyards, where you will meet the winegrower. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting of their local wines before the relaxing drive back to the pier in Port Vendres.

SALSES CASTLE & TASTING
Departing the pier by motorcoach, you will enjoy the pleasant 1 hour drive to the village of Salses le Château, which bears the castles name. Officially named La Forteresse de Salses, the very well preserved Salses Castle, originally built as a Spanish fortress, by the Spanish architect Francisco Ramiro Lopez for the King Ferdinand of Aragon, King of Spain during the discovery of the New World, but now French since 1659 in the plateau de Roussillon area, in the eastern Pyrenean Mountains region. The Salses Castle was built on a narrow flat streak of land along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It is through this passage that the army of Hannibal made its passage into Italy in 218 BC.
Your guide will take you on the walking tour of the castle; tell you the history and the importance of its strategic location at the ancient border between France and Spain.
After your visit you will reboard the motorcoach for a short drive to the wine region of Rivesaltes, famous for its soft wines and scenic landscapes, where you will visit Chateau de Rombeau a well known vineyard in the area. Here you will enjoy a wine tasting before returning to Port Vendres.

PORT GRIMAUD VILLAGE
A short drive from St. Tropez allows you to experience the beauty and contrast of modern Port Grimaud and medieval Grimaud village. First visit a village of unique charm, Port Grimaud, which was designed by the famous architect Francois Spoerry. Appearing as a Mediterranean fishing village, Port Grimaud is a modern complex of luxury houses, fully equipped marinas, and seven miles of meandering quays. Embarking a water taxi, take a pleasant cruise through the wandering canals of this lively village. Passing by pastel houses, alleys, bridges, and tiny squares, come to understand Port Grimaud's nickname, "little Venice of Provence."
From the seaside resort area, proceed through the countryside and up to Grimaud, a "perched" village.
