The largest of the Gili islands just off Lombok is not very large. At three kilometers long by two wide, there really is no need for motor vehicles, so there aren’t any. Just horse carriages, bicycles and “shank’s mare.” Too small for agriculture or much commerce, it mainly produces relaxation and beach-induced bliss
