A beautiful Venetian harbor guarded by a lighthouse welcomes you to this well-preserved medieval town.Located between Heraklion and Chania on Crete’s northern coast, it contains a wealth of sites worth visiting. Notable locations include a graceful 16th century Venetian loggia, two Ottoman mosques, a pair of museums displaying folkloric and historic items, and archaeological discoveries from the area.
