Exciting, exhilarating, memorable -- Ventures by Seabourn is a series of Zodiac, kayak and hiking activities enabling you to experience the wonders of nature up close. Each Venture is expertly planned, professionally operated, and escorted by skilled, knowledgeable guides.
Join the Ventures by Seabourn team and head out by zodiac to explore Holgate Fjord, Holgate Glacier and the surrounding waterfalls. You will likely also get acquainted with some local wildlife. The zodiacs allow you to get close to all the highlights of Holgate Fjord and to access areas the ship can't reach. This is the ultimate immersive experience and a one-off chance to explore this remote destination in great detail. Each zodiac has a qualified zodiac driver/naturalist who skillfully offers insights and information.
Please note: Tour departs from and returns to the ship. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Bring binoculars. Wear sunglasses and biodegradable sunscreen; bring insect repellent. There are steps to negotiate when (dis)embarking the Zodiac, with assistance offered. Tour generally operates rain or shine, but may be canceled in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions. Minimum age is 6 years. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
