This transfer may suit you if you would like to explore on your own. It consists of a motorcoach ride from the ship to Tokushima. You will be dropped off at a central location, and the coach escort will advise you of the pick-up time for the return journey. You will have approximately 5 hours to shop and explore independently.
Spend the day getting to know Tokushima on a tour that you design yourself. You'll have plenty of free time to explore, shop, and when and where you have lunch, so be sure to have plenty of Yen to cover your expenses. Then, at the end of the day, you'll rejoin your coach at the time specified by your driver/guide and return to your waiting ship. Visit one of the temples on the island's famed Shikoku Pilgrimage Route, a mesmerizing look at the Naruto Whirlpool, and a glimpse of the haunting ruins of the 16th century Tokushima Castle are just a few of the fascinating sights you can choose to visit. When it's time to call it a day, you'll travel back to our ship with a heart and camera filled with wild and wonderful memories.
