Depart the pier for a scenic 75-minute drive to Omicho Market where you will soak up 270 years of history at the largest market in Kanazawa. With over 170 shops and stalls selling almost anything you can imagine, it’s no wonder this busy network of covered streets was dubbed the "Kitchen of Kanazawa."
Continue to Kenrokuen Garden, one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan. Enjoy exploring displays such as the island pond with its iconic stone lantern to the winding pathways that lead to arched bridges. Resplendent with color and texture, this masterful landscape is sure to enchant.
Then enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with Geisha Performers.
From there, continue to the Higashi Chaya District. Featuring rows of tea houses dating back hundreds of years, the district is a living example of Japan’s cultural past. A chaya (teahouse) is an exclusive type of restaurant where guests are entertained by geisha who performs song and dance.
After your Kanazawa exploration, return to the pier.
Please note:
Participants must negotiate stairs and/or uneven surfaces and is therefore not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Tour sequence may vary.
