Depart Burnie and head southeast for an hour-long drive through some of the beautiful towns that dot Tasmania's northern landscape.
Your first stop is at Anvers Chocolate Factory, which specializes in handcrafted Belgian-style chocolates made with the freshest Tasmanian cream and butter. Enjoy a delicious morning tea and browse in the museum or gift shop.
Visit the boutique Ghost Rock Vineyard, where you will be briefed on all aspects of the vineyard and enjoy a sampling of wine. The wines are made in small quantities from grapes grown on just seven acres of vines. The original vineyard, established in 1989, was among the first to be planted in this coastal region of Tasmania.
The drive back to the ship is just over an hour.
