Take in the splendor of Phillip Island's spectacular beauty with an introductory panoramic tour that showcases its charm, history and wildlife. This excursion takes you from one end of the island to the other.
Begin at the pier where you'll board a coach and proceed all the way to the tip of the island's southwest corner, known as the Summerland Peninsula. Here sit 'the Nobbies' -- two large, craggy rocks that stick straight out of the water. Look for the Seal Rocks -- home to one of the largest fur seal populations in Australia. Nearby Summerland Beach is the site of the nightly penguin parade when the world's smallest penguins waddle up the sand after a hard day at the office.
Journey inland to the Phillip Island Racing Circuit -- a state-of-the-art racetrack that boasts go karts and slot car racing for kids and adrenalin-pumping rides with an experienced racecar driver.
Cape Woolamai is Phillip Island's highest point and showcases some of Victoria's sweeping golden beaches.
Passing through the fishing village of Rhyll, tucked on the island's northeast corner, you'll discover a haven for pelicans, black swans, gulls and straw-necked ibis. However, Rhyll's true claim to fame is the Koala Conservation Center. Here, you can come face-to-face with koalas in their natural habitat.
Please note:
Participants must be able to (dis)embark the coach unassisted.
