This tour encompasses some of the highlights of Mid-Coast Maine, as well as a traditional lobster bake.
A panoramic drive introduces you to Rockland, with its bustling main street and famous Breakwater Lighthouse in the distance.
Watch for Rockport, one of Maine's most beautiful harbors. Heading up Mount Battie in Camden Hills State Park, you'll be wowed by the sweeping views of Penobscot Bay, Camden town, and the islands below.
Return to sea level to visit quaint Camden, a quintessential New England harbor village with small local shops and fantastic eateries. Approximately 1.25 hours of free time is afforded here.
Sit down to a true Downeast lobster bake in a beautiful setting on the coast. Savor a lobster pulled from the briny sea just a few hours ago and drizzled with butter. Fresh bread, coleslaw, potato, and corn on the cob are along for the ride. For dessert, how about a piece of homemade blueberry cake or pie?
Return to the ship full, happy and better acquainted with Penobscot Bay.
Please note: Tour sequence may vary. Steak is available upon request for those who do not eat lobster.
