For centuries, Amsterdam has been revered as a great Fine Arts center and, today, the Rijksmuseum is celebrated as one of the world's finest repositories. The city is also famous for its extensive network of canals. This express outing introduces you to both in an agreeably snappy fashion.
A short motorcoach transfer delivers you to the Rijksmuseum, located at Museum Square. It features more than 8,000 objects on display — among its treasures are masterpieces by Rembrandt, Frans Hals and Johannes Vermeer. Don't miss The Night Watch — the museum's most treasured possession.
Across Museum Square, board a canal boat for a 90-minute ride on Amsterdam's gorgeous waterways. You will quickly gain a sense of the city's rich history, passing a number of charming landmarks viewable only from the water.
