Transfer by minivan to the Sandviken helicopter base, located in a charming old part of Bergen, north of the city center.
Hop aboard the helicopter and settle in for a marvelous flight that showcases how Bergen is cradled between hills and mountains. Towards the open sea (the North Sea), you'll see the many islands and skerries protecting the coastline.
Pass over the city center and its surrounding mountains and fjords and, if you're particularly lucky, you might be able to see part of a glacier in the distance (weather permitting).
Return to the heliport, admiring your cruise ship from above.
