Is there a minimum age a child must be to take a cruise?

Infants must be at least 6 months of age at the time of embarkation to sail. Children must be at least 12 months of age at the time of embarkation to sail on trans-ocean crossings and on remote itineraries, where there are more than two consecutive sea days. Expeditions require guests to be at least 6 years of age.
