Discover the St. Blaize Trail, a hidden gem located right at the start of South Africa’s Garden Route in Mossel Bay. Embark on an 8.5 km hike along the trail, which follows the 30-meter contour along the cliffs from Pinnacle Point Estate to Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse. The trail is clearly marked with the sign of the Oystercatcher and offers dramatic sea views, excellent whale and dolphin watching, and the chance to spot trail dassies.
After your hike, enjoy finger food delights at a picturesque picnic spot.
Please note:
It is recommended that guests dress in casual clothing, light jacket, and good hiking shoes. It is also recommended to carry a hat, sunglasses, sunblock, and water. This activity entails a good amount of walking on uneven terrain and is thus not suitable for individuals with walking limitations. Hikers should have some hiking experience and be able to keep up with the group. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Guests are advised to bring a small backpack for snacks that will be provided for the trail. Please note that there are no restroom facilities on this tour, and the return time may vary based on the group’s fitness level and speed. Be cautious of snakes, especially puff adders, during the summer months.
