Stroll with your guide for a walking tour through Sydney, learning about the local history and pausing at three local establishments for beer and cider tastings.
Leaving the pier, take photos of Sydney's most iconic landmark and symbol of its Celtic musical roots — the world's largest fiddle.
Next up is Island Folk Cider House — Cape Breton's first locally-owned and -operated craft cidery. Meet the owner and learn how the house-made ciders are proudly brewed with 100% Nova Scotia apples. Taste the goodness in your sample flight.
Head back out with your guide and stretch your legs on the walk to the next pub for a cold beer from a selection of Nova Scotia brews.
Another short stroll brings you to the final stop, where friendly locals enjoy the comfortable atmosphere. Four select craft brews feature in a tasting flight.
Returning to the pier with your guide. Time permitting, guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship.
Please note: This program is conducted entirely on foot. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Minimum age to drink alcohol is 19 years, with a companion aged 21 years or older.
