Begin your adventure with a visit to the Castle of Niokastro, situated at the southern end of the port of Pylos. Initially built by the Turks in 1573, the castle is a major landmark on the Peloponnese Peninsula. It was captured by the Venetians in 1686 and later recaptured by the Turks. Today, the castle houses the Center for Underwater Archaeological Studies.
Next up, visit the city of Methoni, where you can expect golden sands, winding cobblestone alleyways, and pretty houses. Visit the Castle of Methoni and enjoy some free time to explore before returning to the ship.
Please note: Tour sequence may vary. Tour does not operate on Sundays. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes.
