Welcome to Øvre-Eide Farm, nestled in historical surroundings only five minutes from central Bergen. This family-run farm, with roots and buildings dating back to 1540, welcomes guests from around the world. Among stunning Nordic nature, you'll discover the day-to-day life of a traditional farm.
Experience the beautiful landscape and connect with the animals. Learn the art of baking lefse — a traditional Norwegian pastry. You'll learn all about the history and folklore behind this classic, and master the art of baking it on a special iron block.
While baking, enjoy coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit juice and almond cake made by the farm's own pastry chef. Take all the treats you made with you to savor at your leisure. Will you have any left after the coach ride back to the ship?
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Tour is non-refundable from three days prior to departure.
