Depart Invergordon for Muir of Ord along the shores of the Cromarty Firth. On arrival at Glen Ord Distillery enjoy a tour of one of the Highland’s hidden treasures producing liquid gold all year round. Join The Singleton team and enter a world of taste and flavor. The new Singleton whisky visitor experience is inspired by a passion for making perfectly balanced, delicious whisky and an Epicurean spirit which finds pure joy in exceptional food and drink. Based within the Glen Ord Distillery, one of three storied distilleries which make The Singleton brand, the new experience treats visitors to the finest Scottish fare. Following on from the guided tour experience a tutored nosing and tasting of the Singleton of Glen Ord range (3 tastings).
Continuing towards Beauly, a small but beautiful village with several independent good quality retailers, coffee shops and the ruins of an old priory with funerary monuments-notably including those of the Mackenzie family. Some free time gives an opportunity to explore at leisure.
