Cleland Wildlife Park is situated in the rolling hills of Adelaide's Mount Lofty Ranges. The park is where people come to encounter a large collection of native and endemic Australian animals and birds. Cleland's sprawling 172 acres allow kangaroos, wallabies and emus to run free.
Get close to the koalas, see lakes for the waterfowl, and walk through aviaries and enclosures for dingoes, Tasmanian devils, goanna, small mammals, and reptiles.
You may be able to have your photo taken with a koala (at your own expense).
Your tour returns to Adelaide with wonderful views over the gulf waters, the city and the Adelaide Plains. A panoramic drive unveils a cityscape where historic architecture seamlessly blends with modern design. Along the way, you'll pass the stately colonial buildings along tree-lined boulevards, the Botanic Gardens, and Holy Trinity Church. There are delightful views of the city's renowned flower-fringed parks before you pass the grand old Parliament Buildings and nearby Government House en route back to the pier.
Please note:
Wear comfortable walking shoes. Due to high demand, koala-holding session times and availability are very limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to check the times on arrival to avoid disappointment. If the temperature reaches 32c or higher, the koala close-ups and photos are canceled, as it is too hot for the koalas. Tour does not operate on holidays.
