The scenery of Bunbury accompanies you to the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. Here in this pretty spot, meet your local Wadandi Aboriginal guide. (S)he will help you to understand the significance and importance of the local Aboriginal culture and the experience you're about to enjoy.
Take short walk around the base of the lighthouse and head to an outdoor bush setting for an interactive cultural experience. View a range of tools and artifacts, both modern and old, and listen to the haunting sound of the didgeridoo. The deep connection that Wadandi people have with the Cape to Cape region becomes readily apparent.
Listen to local stories, tall and true and savor a traditional outdoor barbecue buffet lunch. Native food tastings make it a little different.
Relax and enjoy the scenery as you head back to the ship.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
