Set sail on a 65-foot maxi-catamaran -- and head down the west coast of Tahiti. The Ohana is the largest and fastest catamaran of its class in Tahitian waters and offers plenty of shaded seating under the canopy. Sun-seekers can relax on the two large nets located in the bow.
Feel the sea spray on your face as the boat slices along the barrier reef. Watch for spinner dolphins, frequently seen in the area. On the south shore of Taapuna Passage, keep an eye out for local and international surfers hanging ten and catching waves.
The skipper will drop anchor in the clear waters of the lagoon, where you will have plenty of time to enjoy a swim and snorkel. Gear is provided. Access to the water is by way of a large, easy stepladder.
Back on the boat, kick back, unwind on the catamaran deck and nets, and enjoy a refreshment as you sail home across turquoise waters.
Please note:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. To participate in water activities, you must be a competent swimmer and able to cope with occasional currents. Depth of water is not guaranteed due to currents and sea level variation. Tour operates rain or shine but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions. For your own safety and to preserve the environment, do not touch or step on coral. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Mask and snorkel provided. The skipper may choose an alternative route if conditions require. The boat environment requires vigilance; participants must be physically and mentally alert, aware of the surroundings, and fit enough to negotiate steps, ladders and the vessel layout. Access to the restroom is available via a straight ladder. Please realistically assess your physical fitness and ability prior to booking. The boat environment will be wet; bring personal items and devices at your own discretion. You must remove your shoes upon boarding the catamaran. Tour requires walking approximately 400 yards (each way) to reach the boat.
