Greenland features stunning nature and endless landscapes. On this hike you will have front row seat to the great Greenland outdoors.
Transfer by motorcoach to the town border and the start of the Arctic Circle Trail. A local guide will be there to follow the gruop and lead the hike. The Arctic Circle trail is often listed as one of the best long-distance hikes in the world Today we will be hiking just a small portion of it.
Begin the trek through the mountain landscape into the wild, crossing creeks to discover the delicate Arctic mountain flora in scents and colors. From the highest point we will have a wide view over Sisimiut and the fjords in the distance- we'll pause for minute to take it all in. At the end we return with a fast pace walk all the way back to the ship. Don’t forget your camera as you will not want to miss the incredible vistas and possible wildlife along the trail.

Wherever Included Experience tours are offered, guests are allowed to participate in only one included experience per call unless otherwise specified in the tour description. Please be sure to book your included experience in advance as space may be limited on your specific choice. The distance walked can vary, but guests must be able to walk a minimum of 3 miles (5kms) in one hour. Total distance covered is approximately 4 miles. Bring insect repellent; wear sunscreen. There are no restroom facilities available during the tour. Bring bottled water. Dress in layers and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Please realistically assess your physical fitness and ability prior to booking, as the walk is uphill, over unpaved, rough walking tracks with many steps. The level of guide experience varies due to the remoteness of the location. Limited tourism infrastructure is part of the charm here, and you are trading breadth of experience for authentic interaction. Please bring your spirit of adventure and bear with any language difficulties your guide may encounter and with any operational surprises that may crop up. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
