Cruise the tranquil waters of the Barron River through the World’s most ancient tropical rainforest and experience the peaceful beauty of Kuranda’s unique natural surroundings. This relaxing 45-minute calm water cruise offers the opportunity to spot native wildlife in its natural habitat, including freshwater crocodiles, turtles, water dragons, snakes, fish and a variety of tropical birds. Keep your camera ready for spectacular rainforest and wildlife photography while your local guide shares fascinating insights into the area’s unique environment and wildlife.
Following the cruise, enjoy approximately 1 hour of free time to explore Kuranda at your own pace. This is a wonderful way to experience the rainforest’s tranquillity, abundant wildlife and natural beauty.

Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, inclines, slippery surfaces, and steps, including 100 stairs in sections down to the jetty. There is some slightly uneven ground from the bottom of the stairs at the river to the jetty. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up.
