Take your experience to the next level with a small group (maximum 15 privileged guests) visit to a local rum distillery in Martinique, complete with a VIP tasting.
Appreciate the island scenery and lush countryside as you head to Habitation Clément, an architectural heritage building nestled in a stunning location. Here you'll enjoy an exclusive experience as a rum specialist leads you through the spectacular garden, which covers 40 acres and holds a collection of more than 300 tropical plants, plus an open-air sculpture garden.
Step into the distillery's private ageing cellars (closed to the public), where more than two million liters of rum are stored. Learn the secrets of the rum ageing process, and you'll have the opportunity to taste the fine rums directly from the barrels. Learn about the unique aromas of different rums, allowing you to differentiate between types. A highlight of your experience will be the opportunity to sample several aged rums, paired with foods perfectly suited to each one.
Please note: Minimum age is 18 years. Minimum age to drink alcohol is 18 years, with a companion aged 21 years or older. Tour requires approximately one hour of walking. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, inclines, and steps. Travel time to Clement Plantation is approximately 45 minutes each way.
