This tour will take you to the village Súðavík, located in the neighboring fjord, Álftafjörður. Leaving Ísafjörður, you will get a fantastic view of one of Iceland’s largest fjords, Ísafjarðardjúp, as well as the majestic snow-white and gray striped Snæfjallaströnd mountain chain. Our first stop will bring you to the Arctic Fox Centre, which is not only a museum but also a research center, dedicated to Iceland’s only native land mammal. We continue to Súðavík’s church where we will enjoy a live music act from a local musician. On a scenic drive to the bottom of Álftafjörður, we will get the chance to take some pictures of the beautiful landscape. We get some Icelandic refreshments at the Arctic Fox Centre and make a stop at the Avalanche Monument in Súðavík.
