Experience the magic of Lofoten aboard a RIB (rigid inflatable) boat on this sea eagle safari to Trollfjord. This is one of Norway’s most dramatic and breathtaking natural wonders.
Cruise through spectacular fjord landscapes framed by towering rock walls, pristine beaches, and crystal-clear waters. View the raw beauty of northern Norway and keep watch for the majestic sea eagle — Northern Europe’s largest bird of prey, with an impressive wingspan of up to 8½ feet (2.6 m). You’ll search for these magnificent birds, and with a bit of luck, you’ll have exceptional opportunities to observe them up close.
Your RIB skipper will share fascinating stories about the famous Battle of Trollfjord and the Viking lifestyle that shaped this remarkable region.
Please note: Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. A thermal suit is provided as your outermost layer and must be worn. Minimum age is 8 years. Participants must be in good physical condition and able to swim. Mobility devices (wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, etc) cannot be accommodated on the RIB. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart, back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Bring your own binoculars. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Different types of speedboat are used — some have seating at the bow and standing places aft. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Restroom facilities are not available during the tour.
