The Swan River ribbons through the Swan Valley -- the oldest wine region in Western Australia. This fertile farming region has a rich history and is home to more than 40 wineries. Chenin Blanc and Grenache are its best-selling varietals.
Your first stop is at Nikola Estate Winery. Step inside the cellar door (tasting room) and engage in a guided wine tasting.
Continue your travels to Sandalford Caversham Estate -- one of Western Australia's largest privately-owned wineries. Producing 90,000 cases per year under a variety of labels, it has a tasting room in the cellar and affords an opportunity to view historical winemaking techniques and tools.
Relax on the picturesque ride back to the pier.
