If you've never read D.H. Lawrence, no problem, because today is the day that you get a feel for a day in the life of Lawrence of Arabia.
A rugged 4x4 safari vehicle picks you up at the port and you drive inland to the red dune desert of Ras Al Khaimah.
Just 40 minutes from town, you enter a world of softly undulating sand dunes spreading like tentacles across a vast expanse. Their curious shapes are molded by the harsh and inexorable desert winds.
Make the most of your memorable off-road adventure with a series of exciting dune drives interspersed with photo opportunities as your vehicle leaves its imprint on the virgin sand that moments ago was re-sculpted by the wind, and moments after you leave will show no trace of your adventures.
Enjoy refreshments at a stop en route before returning to the ship.
Please note:
Tour involves off-road driving through rugged country. Ride will be bumpy. Pregnant women or guests with back or neck conditions are not allowed to participate. Surfaces are a combination of unpaved roads and uneven sandy trails. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring sunscreen, wear closed shoes and carry a hat and sunglasses. Maximum 4 guests seated per Jeep. Seating is on first-come-first-served basis. Due to this it is not always possible to accommodate friends and families in the same vehicle.
