Head to the heart of Caribbean culture with the warm flavors of local rum and the savory, crispy goodness of the humble fritter. Together, these create a day of delectable harmony.
Prestigious Rhum Clément nestles in the heart of sugar cane plantations, inviting you to discover the manufacturing process surrounding its beloved rum. A natural product derived from the direct distillation of sugar cane juice, rum has been distilled on the estate since 1917. Habitation Clément's site tour is an introduction to a family entirely devoted to rum. Taste the rum and decide for yourself how it stacks up.
Next, you'll visit Prisca Restaurant, where you'll learn all about life in Martinique, including the art of making traditional fritters using fresh seasonal produce. Tasting various French West Indian aperitifs makes the fritter-making process much easier, and the final product is delicious.
Please note: Minimum age is 12 years. The route is winding. Guests who are prone to motion sickness should consider this before booking and/or take appropriate medication. Terrain includes paved areas with several steps at the distillery.
