Travel along the stunning Middle Corniche, where breathtaking Mediterranean vistas unfold at every turn, before arriving in the medieval village Eze. Perched dramatically on a rocky peak overlooking the sea, this beautifully preserved village is widely regarded as one of the most charming destinations in southern France. Stroll through its narrow cobblestone lanes, accessible only on foot, and admire centuries-old stone architecture, flower-filled corners, and panoramic viewpoints that seem lifted from a postcard.
Continue to Nice, the celebrated capital of the Cote d'Azur, where a guided walk introduces you to the atmospheric heart of the city. Wander through the winding lanes of Old Nice, lined with colorful facades, vibrant shutters, and fragrant blooms cascading from balconies. Your visit leads to the lively Cours Saleya, one of the region's most beloved marketplaces. Browse stalls overflowing with fresh flowers, seasonal produce, local specialties, and handcrafted souvenirs while soaking in the authentic Riviera ambiance. Time permitting, enjoy a period of free time to explore at your own pace before transferring directly to the ship.
Please note: This tour is available exclusively to guests embarking on their Seabourn voyage in Monte Carlo. The pick-up point for all guests is the Fairmont Monte Carlo located at 12 Avenue Des Spelugues, Monte Carlo, 98000 Monaco . If you are not staying at the Fairmont Monte Carlo, you must make arrangements to get to the Fairmont Monte Carlo with your luggage (at your own expense) in sufficient time prior to scheduled departure time. The drop-off point for luggage for guests not staying at the Fairmont Monte Carlo is curbside outside the hotel. Do not bring your luggage inside the hotel; instead, look for the Seabourn representative and your tour guide on the street front. Keep your luggage with you and meet the coach 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. Tour must be booked a minimum of four calendar days prior to your cruise embarkation date. On Mondays, the flower market is replaced with a visit to the traditional bric-a-brac market. Visiting Eze involves uphill walking over uneven cobblestone surfaces; comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
