Walk through Tallinn, whose medieval fortifications grew up in the 13th century, creating a readily defensible city behind one of the strongest wall systems in Northern Europe. Visit one of the old towers to admire the beautiful views across Tallinn's Old Town. The route takes you past Long Leg Gate, the Great Guild and the Church of the Holy Spirit.
Follow narrow cobblestone streets on the way to Town Hall Square to see two outstanding buildings -- the Town Hall dating from 1404 and the Town Council's Apothecary (1422).
After the walking trip visit Chocolala chocolate museum and enjoy a 2-hour chocolate making workshop. An award-winning luxurious handmade chocolate - Chocolala offers all kinds of chocolate inspired by the Nordic forests with their unique berries, reindeer moss, birch sap … and bean to bar products made on-site only in small batches. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with an assortment of local sweets in a historical building located right in the Old Town. From the museum it’s a short walk to rejoin the coach and drive back to the Cruise port.
Please note:
Walking is required on cobblestone streets; there are steps in the medieval tower and in the chocolate workshop. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations.
