The sweeping Argentine pampas -- the domain of gauchos -- beckons you to explore on horseback today. Whether you're a complete beginner needing a stately steed, or an experienced rider looking for a spicier time, there is a horse or pony perfectly suited to your riding ability.
Listen to an informative talk about the ranch and the ponies (they are polo horses); then, select your pony and enjoy a refreshment as (s)he is being saddled for you. You'll set out on your ride which takes you out onto the pampas for two hours in Argentina's countryside. And a great team of qualified instructors will be along for the ride.
A complete barbecue lunch offers wonderful asado -- a grilled selection of meat (vegetarian options are available) accompanied by premium Argentine wines. Savor this opportunity to try delicious regional food.
Relax around the swimming pool afterwards or take a walk through the beautiful countryside before you return to the cruise terminal.
Please note:
Travel time is approximately 1¼ hours each way. No previous riding experience required; tour is suitable for complete beginners. Bring your swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Bring insect repellent; wear comfortable athletic clothing. Delays may extend tour duration by up to one hour. Your driver will do his/her best to minimize the inconvenience; your patience is appreciated. This tour shares transportation and lunch with Seabourn guests participating in the Polo: It's Argentina's Game tour.
