Begin your adventure with a 45-minute panoramic drive to a charming area near Puerto Varas, located in the Los Lagos region of southern Chile.
Upon arrival at the stables, you will listen to a short briefing about horseback riding, and gear up. Your ride starts with gentle slopes. Keep an eye out for the herds of local sheep grazing nearby, and find out about land management from your knowledgeable guide.
Your ride continues along a path that delves deep into Valdivian rain forest. This temperate forest is part of the Neotropic Ecozone that lies mostly within Chile but extends into a small part of Argentina. Your guide will point out the local flora and fauna as you enjoy the beauty of the forest.
At the conclusion of the ride, you will head back to the ship.
