Porto de Galinhas Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil -- a paradise boasting vast coconut groves, huge reefs and crystal-clear natural pools.
You will have approximately four hours at the beach to spend at your leisure. It is possible to do as much or as little as you like. The white sand of the ten beaches in the area is perfect for relaxing while palm trees rustle in the ocean breeze. The offshore reef absorbs the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, meaning that the clear emerald waters close to the beach are calm, with waves gently lapping the shore and are the ideal temperature for swimming.
Please note:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Beach activities are available at your own risk and expense. Your guide will do his/her best to speak English, but please keep in mind that the limited tourism infrastructure of Recife is part of the city's charm, and bear with any language difficulties (s)he may encounter. Beach chairs are not included but are available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis. You are visiting during high season; the beach will be crowded.
