Enjoy a fresh, locally sourced seafood tasting menu paired with award winning BC wines. Situated high on a promontory overlooking the Prince Rupert harbor, the Waterfront Restaurant at the Crest Hotel has earned acclaim for its Pacific Northwest cuisine. Experience breathtaking views of the active harbor, surrounding mountains and soaring eagles.
After the short walk to the hotel, settle in for an epicurean journey. Executive Chef Willy Beaudry and his international culinary team are committed to sourcing sustainable seafood and crafting innovative dishes. The menu features seafood chowder; Arctic surf clams; smoked butterfish; shrimp; locally and sustainably caught cod; West Coast plate of cold smoked lox, dill and horseradish cream; West Coast tuna, ponzu-orange, sesame and scallion; and fresh Hecate Strait halibut with lemon-caper sauce. For dessert, enjoy a mini crème brûlée with maple-infused syrup, whipped cream, and berries in season.
The sommelier has paired an award-winning British Columbia wine for you to enjoy with your meal. (Local craft beer substitute available.)
Please note: Participants will walk along a paved sidewalk approximately 800 feet with a mild- to moderate uphill incline to the Crest Hotel. Minimum age is 19 years with photo ID to consume alcohol.
