Scuba diving will be offered throughout the voyage, at the discretion of the onboard Dive Master. Guests who have booked a Dive Pass are welcome to take part in all dives that are offered during the voyage. Join your resident Divemaster as we explore tropical destinations around the world. The onboard Divemaster will select dive sites on the day, based on the ships position and other opportunities that arise. A thorough dive briefing will be given by the divemaster prior to all dives.
Please Note: All dive participants must bring their own dive gear. Weight belts, tanks, masks, snorkel, and fins will be provided by the ship. Dive participants must bring with them all dive certification cards and proof of having completed at least two open-water dives within the 12 months prior to the start of the voyage. Participants must complete and sign the PADI "Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding" and "Release of Liability/Assumption of Risk/Non-agency Acknowledgement form". Dive participants must complete the PADI Diver Medical Questionnaire and Physician’s Evaluation Form (one document, combined). Every guest who books to dive with Seabourn is required to complete the questionnaire in full and sign it. If after completing it the guest is required to see a physician (as detailed in the form), they must have a medical evaluation in the 6 months prior to the start of the voyage, be declared fit to dive, and the Physician’s Evaluation Form must be signed by the examining physician.
All documents listed above must be filled and signed before joining the vessel and must be presented to the dive master onboard when the guest joins the ship. Scuba divers who are unable to provide the required documentation onboard the ship will not be permitted to participate. Once all documentation has been verified by the onboard Dive Master, dive participants will be required to complete an initial ‘checkout dive’, to demonstrate basic scuba skills to the Dive Master. Diving will be limited to 30 meters/100 feet and a max of 60min, with a safety stop at 5 meters/15ft for 3 min. No diving will exceed No Decompression Limits.
