Start your coach tour with a 40-minute drive to the charming Sea Cider Farm & Cider House. Renowned for its exceptional, award-winning organic cider, Sea Cider offers a memorable West Coast experience. Tour the facility, learning how apple juice travels from the orchard to your glass, and step into the spacious tasting room to sample a flight of ciders. Also served is a light artisan lunch plate with cheeses, sausage and baguette.
Head to Sidney, just a short 15-minute drive away and boasting a lovely view of the Gulf
Islands and Washington State's Mount Baker in the distance (views are weather permitting). Most visitors conclude that the locals are quite fortunate to live, work and play in this community that is a full-blown city with the relaxed atmosphere of a small seaside town. You will have an hour of free time to wander about. Take a look in the aquarium or stop into the beer distillery if you like (at your own expense).
Next stop -- downtown Victoria. This is a city that is crying out for a panoramic drive through its compact Chinatown district and its glorious, utterly beautiful Inner Harbour area. A must-do is snapping some photos at the BC Legislature Building, with the landmark Empress Hotel just across the way.
Guests who wish to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. There is gravel at the farmhouse.
