The Coral Coast of Western Australia is home to an abundance of National Parks and reefs teeming with wildlife, all ready for you to explore.
Enjoy an exclusive boat cruise to Ningaloo Reef. Once out at sea, you will put on snorkel gear. Your guide is very knowledgeable and passionate about whale sharks -- the gentle giants that frequents these waters but are actually neither a whale nor a shark. Whale sharks are the largest fish in the sea, often more than 40 feet long. This plankton-eater scoops up food with its colossal mouth wide open and filters the water out before swallowing.
The clear waters and visibility of Australia's northwest make for perfect conditions to hop into the water and swim with a whale shark. The whale sharks cruise just below the surface as they search for delicious plankton, allowing you to swim alongside them.
A morning snack and lunch are served on board.
Please Note:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. This is a very strenuous and fast-paced tour which requires swimming in the open ocean around wildlife. A good level of fitness is required to safely participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. You will be required to provide medical clearance from your doctor if you would answer yes to any of the following questions:
> Have you had problems with your lungs, breathing, heart and/or blood, affecting normal physical or mental performance?
> Do you struggle to perform moderate exercise (for example, walk one kilometer/one mile in 14 minutes or swim 50 meters/yards without resting), OR have been unable to participate in a normal physical activity due to fitness or health reasons?
> Have you lost consciousness, had migraine headaches, seizures, stroke, significant head injury, or suffer from persistent neurologic injury or disease?
> Do you have back problems, hernia, ulcers, or diabetes, or other problems that affect your ability to climb stairs and ladders at a reasonable pace?
> Are you taking any strong prescription medications?
