After a short drive through the Maremma region you will reach Antica Fattoria La Parrina, in Albinia. La Parrina is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse producing its own wine, extra-virgin olive oil, organic cheese, honey, fruit, and vegetables.
Upon arrival at the farm, you will be welcomed by a host, and you will learn some history of the estate before visiting the vineyards, the wine cellar and the barrique cellar. Here your host will explain the traditional production still in use today and some modern methods. After this tour, you will be invited to taste two types of Parrina wine, either Ansonica or Vermentino white wine and Sangiovese red wine, paired with local cheese and schiaccia bread made with organic flour.
