Continue to the ancient St Moluag Church, a site steeped in mystery and legend. Take time to explore this historic landmark before heading to the dramatic Butt of Lewis Lighthouse, built in 1862 by the Stevenson brothers. Unlike many Scottish lighthouses, this striking beacon is constructed from red brick and stands in one of the windiest locations in the UK—a fact recorded in the Guinness Book of Records! Enjoy time for photographs and soak in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic before returning to Stornoway.
