On the way back to the pier, visit Top Town lookout to get a full view of the town and greater Milne Bay Province.
Your last stop is at the Milne Bay War Memorial. The battle of Milne Bay was incredibly significant. Learn why ownership of this thin coastal corridor, which seems too remote to matter, was bitterly contested in a battle that was brutally fought to the death.
