Jeremy Bitz

Jeremy Bitz is a Digital Media Operations and Content Executive working within the global news, entertainment and sports industries. Currently, Jeremy spends his time working with numerous major content providers and networks on their digital strategies and streaming applications. Much of his work enhances how and where we get our news and entertainment content every day.
 

Early in his career, Jeremy was hired as a news assistant and held numerous behind the scenes producing positions at New York 1 News in New York City. Jeremy spearheaded coverage of the 2004, 2008 and 2012 U.S. Presidential elections; traveled to the Middle East to cover Operation Iraqi Freedom and was the lead field producer at the World Trade Center following the September 11 attacks.
 

Jeremy has been recognized with several prestigious honors for his work in the television industry, including a national NABJ award and two NYABJ news awards in International Journalism for stories he produced in the Middle East during “Operation Iraqi Freedom.” Jeremy is also a CableACE Award winner and received an Emmy nomination for his producing of a half-hour news special based on the crash of TWA Flight 800.
 

Jeremy’s volunteer and community service includes working as a docent at the World Trade Center Memorial Site, as well as serving on the President’s Leadership Council at Elizabethtown College. He was also an adjunct professor at New York University where he taught undergraduate and continuing education journalism courses.
