After providing the industry and media the first peek inside its first purpose-built expedition ships during the Seatrade Cruise Global conference in April, Seabourn, a unit of Carnival Corporation & Plc, has revealed the rest of the Adam D. Tihany designed suites.

The Seabourn Venture is set to take to the seas June 2021 with her soon to be named sister following May 2022. The Veranda, Panoramic Veranda, and Penthouse suite categories on the two all-suite vessels will include bespoke furniture which Tihany says will be both beautiful and comfortable, something the line’s well-heeled clientele demands.

“All of our spacious suites provide the expedition traveler with equal parts of adventure together with the best in luxury accommodation and service,” said Richard Meadows, president of Seabourn about the reveal, adding, “Seabourn’s suites are created to invite guests to linger longer as we take them to diverse and remote locales around the world.”

Design elements include parchment texture inspired wall panels and curvilinear arches to reflect bygone maritime craftsmanship. Custom bedside panels will make you recall luxury travel from another era.

At the same time, functional design abounds with toggle switches, an analog clock and a fold away reading lamp. Tihany, who said he is personally involved with every aspect of the design for the ships, brings organic shapes, materials like wood and stone, and textured fabrics.

Oversize bathrooms will offer separate shower and bathtub, not always common aboard cruise ships. The art collection, Tihany said during Seatrade, is designed to reflect that of a seasoned explorer, will extend beyond public areas into the ship’s all ocean front with private veranda suites as well.

Each suite will also have a built-in heated jacket wardrobe, where guests can grab a warm coat before heading out on a cool morning or hang their wet outdoor parkas and other gear to dry quickly once they return from adventures off the ship.

Last month, it showed off the Wintergarden (pictured below), Signature and Owners Suite categories which range from 1,042 sq. ft. to 1,397 sq. ft and represent the top three categories.

So, what you have been waiting for, a peek into these remaining luxury suites!
