Snuba is truly an ideal underwater experience. A cross between snorkeling and scuba, it gives you a magnificent freedom that snorkeling can't provide, but lacks the cumbersome equipment and lengthy training required for professional scuba diving.

Your instructor will lead you through a twenty-minute safety briefing, after which you'll be ready to head down to shore and kick off your underwater adventure. The waters surrounding Pigeon Island are teeming with a variety of tropical fish and marine life, including flounder, blue tang, parrotfish, squirrelfish, spiny lobster, arrow crabs and octopus.

Back on land, you'll walk through the ruins of military buildings and learn the compelling history of the island. Don't miss a hike up to the hilltop ruins of Fort Rodney for a panoramic view of the ocean and coastline.

Please note: Minimum age is 8 years. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Bring dry clothing to change into for the journey back to the port and ship.
