Approximately 3 Hours
Begin your day with a panoramic drive through Copenhagen, heading to beautiful Rosenborg Castle.
This amazing structure is built in 1607 in Dutch Renaissance style. Pause for photos at this idyllic castle and hear more about Danish King Christian IV, who built some of the most famous landmarks and districts in Copenhagen.
Continue to Amalienborg, the winter royal residence. The spacious, octagonal Palace Square is surrounded by four identical Rococo palaces beautifully situated by the waterfront.
Next up is the colorful and lively Nyhavn waterfront district -- once the favorite haunt of sailors. Today, the canal district is lined with 500-year-old gabled houses, sidewalk cafés and bars.
Your scenic drive continues through the inner part of Copenhagen -- you'll pass City Hall and the mile-long Strøget pedestrian-only street filled with shops, boutiques and cafés. Opposite, you will glimpse the world-famous Tivoli Gardens, founded in 1843. Passing the Glyptotek Art Museum, don't miss the chance to see perhaps the smallest and certainly the most iconic landmark of Copenhagen, the world-famous statue of the Little Mermaid.
Keep an eye out for the old Stock Exchange -- also in Dutch-Renaissance style -- with its fascinating spire of entwined dragon tails.
Drive through the beautiful area of Christianshavn and, if you have booked your hotel in Copenhagen through Seabourn, your tour will end with a transfer to your designated (NIMB or Marriott) hotel at no extra charge.
