The picturesque fishing village of Ullapool lies on beautiful Loch Broom in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. Its sheltered waters provide the perfect spot to enjoy quiet time paddling in the kayaks. Keep a lookout for wildlife as you explore the area. Sea eagles are a common sight floating on the mountain thermals, and otters can often be seen at the water's edge. Keep an eye out for wildlife, both in the air and on the water.
Please note: You will not step ashore at Ullapool. (Dis)embarking the kayaks may take place from the ship, the beach or from the Zodiac, depending upon operational requirements. All sea kayaks are doubles. Dress warmly in layers; a waterproof outer layer is provided in the form of a drysuit. Bring a hat or beanie; wear sunglasses and biodegradable sunscreen.
