Discover the rugged coastline of Taranaki as you venture to one of Taranaki’s hidden gems – the Pihama Lavander Farm. Enjoy a refreshment while Liz gives you an amazing talk about Pihama Lavander and her passion for what she does. You will have time to check out the amazing gift store before boarding your coach traveling further South through Hawera (The Burnt Place).
When you arrive in Ohangai, you will enjoy a set menu with a two-course lunch overlooking lush farmland with a backdrop of Mount Taranaki. Once you have finished lunch, you’ll board the coach once again to travel North.
You’ll pass through towns such as Eltham, Stratford, and Inglewood as you head back into New Plymouth. Here you’ll head down to the Te Rewa Rewa Bridge, a stunning piece of architecture. The steel arch structure of the bridge is intended to represent a whale skeleton or a breaking wave.
This extraordinary excursion promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will undoubtedly be the highlight of your New Zealand getaway.
