Come ashore for a self-guided visit to the only known Viking site in North America, the incredible L'Anse aux Meadows. The expedition team and local guides will be on hand to accompany your visit, as you explore the site of a settlement established here over 1,000 years ago.
Please note: The Expedition Team will advise your booked included experience departure time onboard. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress warmly in layers with a wind- and waterproof outer layer; bring gloves, a scarf and a warm hat. Walking is over sloped boardwalks and packed gravel walkways. This is a remote area and transportation, if used, will be a school bus.
