Discover the medieval charms of Old Dubrovnik during a memorable guided walking tour through this historic city.
The motorcoach will pick you and your luggage up at Seabourn's designated Dubrovnik hotel. Transfer to the Old Town's Pile Gate for a walk along the Stradun -- the main avenue. Along the way, you'll visit the Dominican Monastery and the cathedral. Inside, discover the finest collection of Renaissance paintings in Dubrovnik. Among the many works by local and Italian masters is a painting by Titian. The cathedral is built on the remains of the original 12th-century church that was destroyed by a disastrous earthquake in 1667. Today, its Treasury contains one of the finest collections of gold and silver artifacts in Europe.
Some of the other buildings you'll view from the outside are Sponza Palace, noted for its column courtyard with elaborate stone carvings, the Rector's Palace, the Maritime Museum, the Church of Saint Blaise, and Onofriou's Fountain.
Afterward, transfer to the ship at the pier in Dubrovnik .
Please note: Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience. This tour is specifically designed for guests whose cruise begins in Dubrovnik. The tour will pick you up from the Seabourn-contracted hotel and drop you off at the ship after the tour. If you have booked your overnight stay independently at a different hotel but wish to participate in this tour, you must meet the tour at the Seabourn-contracted hotel for pick-up. No other pick-up locations are available for this tour.
Please keep in mind that tours are subject to minimum participation. In the event of low participation, the tour may be cancelled, in which case we recommend one of our regular airport transfer options.
