Here's an easy-to-moderate hike from Cala Sant Esteve to Punta Prima — perhaps the perfect way to discover the beauty of the island of Menorca. A World Biosphere Reserve with an intensely interesting history carved into the landscape, Menorca's landscapes are so varied that every walker can find a route made to measure. The south coast offers some of the most stunning hiking trails on the island.
Yours passes through juniper woods, skirts Cala Rafalet Beach, the Alcaufar defense tower with panoramic views, and ends at a beautiful, wide sandy beach with low rocks and many waterfront houses. From the shore, you can see some islets.
Enjoy some free time at Punta Prima (if time allows) before you head back to the pier.
Please note: Tour requires walking for approximately 2.75 hours, covering 4.5 miles (7.3 km). Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, inclines, stones, rocks, sand, gravel, grass, and steps. Wear sturdy non-skid walking or hiking shoes. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations.
