Our excursion will take us to discover the capital town of the Balearic Islands, a land rich in natural beauty and artistic heritage. The ancient Mallorca traditions have their own roots in the passion and in the magic of the Arabic culture and will give us a unique and unforgettable experience. The building Almudiana, La Lonja, and the majestic Cathedral of Palma, built in Gothic style in 1230 on the foundations of an ancient mosque, are among some architectural beauties that we will admire. We will proceed uphill to reach the Castle of Bellveder or named also the "Castle of the beautiful views", which is 123 meters high above sea level, and we will enjoy a spectacular panorama of the bay of Palma. This will be followed by a brief photo stop to take some pictures, and then continue to the time of the Flamenco Venue. Here, you'll be mesmerized by the passionate rhythms and soulful melodies of flamenco, a dance that embodies the spirit of Spain. To complement this unforgettable experience, you'll indulge in a selection of typical Mallorcan and Spanish tapas. Savor the flavors of the Mediterranean with dishes such as Traditional Mallorcan soup (mixed vegetables), coca peppers, mushrooms stuffed with sobrasada and honey, Mallorcan cold meats (butiffarron, sobrasada), and ensaimada, accompanied with refreshing sangria or wine. Each bite is a celebration of the island's culinary traditions. Join us for a journey of music, dance, and delicious food, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Please note: The Minimum age to drink alcohol is 18 years, with a companion aged 21 years or older. The show may not be exclusive to Seabourn guests. The tour requires walking about 100 yards.
